World Storytelling Day is on March 20, 2010 and the theme is Light and Shadow-chekc out an event near year and particpate by sharing your story.
How do we get started if we are blocked?
1. Start by keeping a journal; write a dedication to honour your life and your family history, record current events, write a poem or record your favourite poem by someone else, keep a gratitude list, draw a diagram of a family tree and start with notes and memories.
2.Use memory sparkers to get going . . .transport yourself to a room in your memory and ask the following questions
-what do I see
-what do I feel on my skin
-what do I hear
-what do I smell
-what do I taste
-what is the light like
-what do I feel

Definitely agree with what you stated. Your explanation was certainly the easiest to understand. I tell you, I usually get irked when folks discuss issues that they plainly do not know about.
