Art Matters Society presents the 4th Annual, Festival of Artistic and Creative Expression (FACE). A one-day festival of one-acts, skits, monologues and music,:
Saturday June 12, 2010 from 2 PM-11 PM.
Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, 32315 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford
Line-up of shows:
2 PM–Fairies of Ryder Lake from Chilliwack writer Nancy
Guitar $2 children/$4 adults
3 PM–MacBethie (children’s play) by Gwynne Hunt
$2 children/$4 adults
4 PM–3 skits and a monologue from Mission Secondary School Drama Class-under the direction of Gai Brown-Evans.
Ladies of the Night’ by Melanie Moreau, ‘T is for Transexual’ by Michael Haluzen ,‘See You in Ten’ by Courtney Sheppard and ‘Modern Day Spartan’ by Derrick Hall
$10 for all 4 performances
7 PM–Stroke of Malice from Calgary writer Elizabeth Hudson $10
8 PM–Two Feet & a Heartbeat, fresh from the Fraser Valley Zone Festival, Gwynne Hunt’s one-act play $10
9:00 Pm Snippits-monologues from some of Hunt’s past shows; breadlines, Missing, Mudflaps-$5
Or but a $12 ticket to Two Feet and see both shows
Children’s shows are $2 for children/$4 for adults or adults can see both children’s plays for $6.
All other shows are $10 or get a pass for the day for only $30-see all of the shows ($48 value).
